They're just plain racist and hate immigrants brosef. Thats the primary reason behind them suing DACA. They can't digest the fact that undocumented kids are getting the ability to work. We have numbers on our side and all they are are "10 states" and even people within those states are upset with the AGs for taking this decision.

It's a complete joke that the extra 20 bucks (or whatever it was) for DACA driver's licenses is Texas' biggest gripe, but the argument worked for them with eDACA and DAPA.

They will reword it so in the end we still get driver licenses.

Since when do we get subsidized on licenses?

This sounds like people saying illegal immigrants have food stamps.

Subsidized licenses? What are they on about this time? Last I remember those licenses weren't free.

Besides, Texas was one of those states that didn't want to give DL's to DACAers. A Federal Judge forced to it. Seems like an excuse to take them away. For conservatives, it's an opportunity for them to do so now that they have our boy Trump in office. Trump could call them on their bluff.

It costs California $1.64 cents to produce the new Real ID compliant driver's licenses. Idk why the government ends up subsidizing part of the cost? Why is it that the court doesn't just ask Texas to tell DACA drivers to pay full price? Isn't the whole deal about $20 more? lol

Because it's not about drivers licenses, it's about racism.
