Fox news is bad for your brain.

Its as deliberate as it is mendacious.

They took a completely fabricated statement:

"Twenty-one cities, several of them sanctuary cities, have pledged to make one million immigrants American citizens by the end of 2017."

And attempted to associate it with an organization that encourages green-card holds to become citizens, having nothing to do with illegal immigration in fact, as complicit with above-mentioned fabricated statement.

"The Naturalize Now initiative is aimed at preventing illegal immigrants from deportation under the Trump administration. President Trump is not against legal immigration, but has promised to crack down on illegal residency in the U.S., especially of criminals."

Further reading immediately makes apparent the following
The title is literally stolen and reworded from Naturalize NOW campaign literature:

The overall goal of the Naturalize NOW campaign is to move 1,000,000 people to apply for citizenship in 2017.

The implicit omission, of course, is Sanctuary Cities as such, provide protection and resources for undocumented immigrants -- and not so much to 'naturalized' immigrations who already adequate or some protections under Federal law.

But of course, they don't tell you that. Instead it insinuates that Sanctuary Cities promise to make 1 million undocumented immigrants citizens - as though that is a thing they can do. And throw in a name of some immigration organization for good measures.

Title is nothing short of mendacious click-bait excrement.

Don't even know why OP bothered to post it in the first place.

Can't you read the forum rules for the News Section?

You mean this? (I'll paraphrase, since I notice you don't read anything you post)

"All posts must provide a link to the cited information, if you can't find the link then your post belongs in The Lounge....."

Before you post make sure your source is:

Reputable

Pertinent

Does the source discuss the DREAM Act or at the very least immigration reform? Joe the Plumber mentioning immigrants doesn't count; an announcement of a Senator retiring very much does. Exercise good judgment here.....

Informative

Lets take it from the top.

Reputable - Don't profess to know what your standards of reputable journalism are, but Fox and Friends (which is the source for this piece) is at its base nothing less than sycophantic commentary which panders to and profiles Republicans - almost Pravda style. Its basically a 'safe' zone where Fox News grovels to Republicans in power for access.

Pertinent - Ill let you read the quoted guidelines above for pertinent - you know, the thing you pretended to have read in the first.

Informative - Anyone which even a grade-school level education would immediately realize the lie to this piece in the first place; it's civics 101. Namely, only the Federal and not State, has the capacity to confer any immigration status of any kind. The entire piece was none-sense from the start and completely void of information.

By all means, you can have a discussion on this bit of mendacious non-sense, but I think it belongs more in the Others section then here.

Too long to read, my time is more valuable than yours, someone who quotes piano on her signature.

Also, I guess you missed my statement in my original post of this article. You may need to put on your glasses.

You lost.
