If they agree to ratify a law that makes DACA permanent, that is better than we have now. Fuck this all or nothing mentality. The program is going to be challenged in September. We cannot afford this all or nothing approach with time constraints.

It is best to have a permanent solution, if not possible , at lease short term solution , I mean legislative solution

Watching the video, the proposed amendment is to direct Attorney General Sessions to defend DACA in court. No discussion yet about BRIDGE Act or RACA as the amendment itself.

yah true but its refreshing to see that all those republicans spoke in favor of us and they want to tackle the issue in a separate and perhaps/hopefully permanent legislation.

If you live in Florida, your Representative is Rep. Curbelo who introduced RAC Act for the second congressional session in a row. Contact him NOW! Contact Rep. Ileana Ros, Sen Rubio, Sen.Crist; the entire Florida delegation to request that they voice their support for a permanent solution for all who arrived as children.

Rep. Pete Aguilar says that he offers that amendment, but that he's also withdrawing it. Not sure what that does, exactly.

He says he wanted to bring up the issue with the hopes of opening the discussion for a solution.
