I guess this is real. NILC retweeted this:

This is what pisses off the conservatives and other anti-immigrant groups.
This bill is dead upon arrival.

I got an email from my congressman Lloyd doggett it said this
Quote:
Dear Uriel:

Today, I was pleased to join together with my friend Representative Luis Gutierrez to become an original cosponsor of the American Hope Act. Instead of building walls, we should build bridges of opportunity like this one. This bill would provide a permanent legislative solution for the 800,000 young people currently enrolled in DACA and allow thousands of hard-working others a reasonable path to citizenship.

We must continue to stand with our DREAMers against President Trump’s heartless anti-immigrant agenda. Yet it looks like even Trump is not anti-immigrant enough for Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton. Paxton recently led a letter threatening to sue the Trump administration if it does not end DACA. Our DREAMers have paid fees, undergone criminal background checks, and are working hard within our communities. We will not turn our backs on them.

HOPE ACT is real, check it out.

Check the hope act on lounge page w/other legalization bills. I updated it.

It has 116 co-sponsors.

this one is a bit different though, its up to the states to give us residency.

they are doing EVERYTHING THEY CAN TO HELP. ALL OPTIONS ARE ON THE TABLE

To amend the Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act of 1996 to permit States to determine State residency for higher education purposes and to authorize the cancellation of removal and adjustment of status of certain aliens who are United States residents and who entered the United States as children, and for other purposes.
