It's really winning when you win by 3 million votes less than your opponent

Remember what happened in California the last time republicans messed with our commmunity. California turned dark blue.
Sorry Eva, I am usually on your side but this statement is utterly absurd.

We are losing daca regardless. Those AG are not backing down. It's up to congress to act and they are going on their August recess. There is no way something will pass before sept 5th. People are going to lose their daca protection it is a sad reality that I do not wish on us but it might be what pushes congress to act!

bro we aint getting deported dude. going back to the shadows is worse.

didnt u read the fine print before signing up for daca? they cant use our information for enforcement purposes because we gave our info in "good faith" to the govt. worst case scenario is going back to the shadows and self deport cause we cant work anymore.

if they do violate the "good faith clause" when we signed up, thats a class-action lawsuit of 800k ppl vs the US Govt.

and if we do get deported, how long is the backlog? 2 yrs to get a hearing and 6 yrs after that?

u need to chill out dude, ur like the biggest advocate for deportation on here.

He's desperate for any legislative win. I'm sure they'll add some enforcement criteria to the bill and Trump will spin it to his base however he wants. Who cares, they are mindless zombies. He will say something like I sparred these kids to go after the real criminals! Great! MAGA

The Border enforcment bill passed the house a couple of days ago.

Regarding the senate version of border security bill...

The bill has more than 40 Republican co-sponsors.
But in the Senate, where legislation typically requires 60 votes to advance, Republicans have to convince eight Democrats. They have signaled they won't support any border security efforts without compromises on protecting at least some undocumented immigrants who are already here, and are hesitant to give the President a win on his border wall.

Exactly! You want a wall, spare the dreamers!!! Republicans are gonna be forced to do something bipartisan or risk looking incompetent and be slaughtered in the midterms! Trump will sign the bill

See, here is the thing, what you are assuming is USCIS hands ICE our info, all 1.5 million of us info, and tells them "here ICE, these are all the people that had DACA but not no more, go get them tiger " USCIS is NOT going to throw us into the lions dent. I am NOT saying, I have NEVER said that. When I mean being deported I mean

There is a raid, before you were in the wrong time and place, you show them your DACA and bam you go home nothing happens

eva is demanding DACA to be terminated

well, same scenario, there is a raid, wrong place and time but you are there, you wont h ave DACA to protect you this time. We would be expose just like everyone else. Racist Cops in Texas see you? With DACA, if they see a young latino looking person, they would ignore them because there is a chance they have daca, with out DACA that Texas cops if you cause them to stop you, will ask for your legal status. Are you going to show them your expired/terminated DACA?
