DREAM Act/R.A.I.S.E will be a bad marriage. A comprehensive solution as well as a R.A.I.S.E. defeat would be preferable.

This lol. The RAISE ACT is dumb as hell. It lowers immigration at a time when the US is about to fall bellow population replacement levels. Some ignorant people here are very simple minded and only focus on one issue without looking at the totality of the circumstances. Time to step out of that i'm the center of the world mentality. What is the point of getting LPR if the economy will be ruined? Think about other people. Not just about yourselves.

I wish people would stop talking about the raise act like it's gonna happen or it will even be considered in any compromise. Republicans really want a blue wave to take over in 2018 that's fine by me.

Automation/AI is about to create huge unemployment. Of all people, you should know that if you work at Google.

Cutting legal immigration in half is a prudent move. In an ideal world 80% should be cut.

323 million is enough.

Actually experts predict that a huge blue wave is coming in about 10 years.

"Even if Democrats were to win every single 2018 House and Senate race for seats representing places that Hillary Clinton won or that Trump won by less than 3 percentage points — a pretty good midterm by historical standards — they could still fall short of the House majority and lose five Senate seats."
