That's why you have so many pissed off progressives. Enough is enough! They've dragged this issue for far too long.

Exactly! When you got immigration hard liners coming to the table and saying "hey let's work together and find a solution to the dreamers in exchange for border security" and the Democratic party says NO, then they are just simply playing with our future. Border security is going to get done one way or another so why not attach a DACA relief bill? Makes absolutely no sense.

If DACA does end, its on them, not the GOP or President Trump.

They won't be able to explain to their constituents why they voted against such a proposal. They will get demolished by a true progressive wing that will rise up. It's the same reason Trump and Sanders did so strongly, people are fed up with inaction.

Republicans won't be able to get the border security they want without some Democrats voting for it, so they can hold out.

Also the hardliners want waaaaaay too much in exchange for DREAM Act. Hopefully both can come to the table with reasonable requirements.

The issue is pride. Everyone's so worried about looking weak to their own base.

No, he just falsely proclaimed us U S Citizens. Now we are all permanently banned from the U.S and unable to adjust.

They have a veto proof majority. It will breeze through the house and Trump will most likely pressure those in the Senate. Let's not forget that even if he loses 5 Republican senators they're are still 10 Democratic senators running for re-election in deep red States. Trump can simply persuade them to vote for any type of border enforcement if they plan on keeping their seats. It's definitely possible. Specially if Mitch McConnell goes nuclear. He is also up for re-election and so far it looks like he wont even last during the primary.

Alot is at stake here and I do believe President Trump will act one way or another. Don't underestimate him.

You all mention democrats but there's a lot of republicans who are also against the wall and raise act.

So there will have to be a compromise elsewhere

Democrats will hold to their guns to not give trump a win. Same way republicans stuck together to make sure obama did not get any legislative wins.
