They want to give him a victory on something. He's literally failed to accomplish every campaign promise. So, it looks like this may benefit us in some way...
So if he's giving Congress a window of opportunity, does that mean we will be put on hold and not rescinded immediately? Maybe the grandfather option? I hope so!

We don't need six months because the legislation has already been written and it just needs to be scheduled for a vote.

He's talking about broader immigration reform that will need more time to be written.

Republicans are looking for political covers for ending DACA. By saying passing immigration reform within 6 months means nothing.

When trump announce Tuesday that no more new applicant but let current recipient expired, about 1400 a day will lose DACA while Republicans will keep saying they want to pass something within 6 months so these kids can relax. And so two years later still nothing passed and the DACA program will be completely phased out.

Do you really trust congress will pass something within 6 months? They still haven't pass health care repeal when they say they will pass it in one month.

It's either now this September to pass something for dreamers or never.

Easy math

800000 * x = y

Where y is how much money they need and x is fee per applicant

Let's say wall cost 20 billions, that's 20,000,000,000

20,000,000,000 / 800,000 = 25000 per person.

I concur, this congress can't seem to accomplish anything. The fighting between the two is just over the top. What should happen is one term and done no reelction in these positions because people attitudes change while the same Govt officials keep getting reelected its time for new faces in both branches same goes for the Supreme Court , why are you in this position for life? People should have gone out to vote even if they didn't like Hilliary snd Hilliary should have picked Bernie as her running mate. HATE is real in AMERICA
