Congress had 5 years to pass a permanent solution for DACA. Only now that the program is in peril, are GOP lawmakers coming out of the woodworks with their tweets of support. I mean, FOH. They're just scared of losing what's left of the Hispanic votes they have in mid-terms.

That's only if all Democrats are on board with it. Which we still have to wait and see.

It's time to stop asking for Daca.

It's time for DreamAct and a permanent solution for childhood arrivals.

We'll take anything at this point and keeping DACA is a hell of a lot easier than passing "amnesty" in Congress. Beggars can't be choosers

DreamAct can pass which is why all of the sudden everyone is offering a 'version' of it.

Call your Senators!

The AG lawsuit forced his hand. May they rot in hell forever.

If nothing gets done, I'm goonna try to do a couple of things. First, gonna try to fix my status through employment (EB3) and an I601 waiver through LPR father. My company is willing to do this. This will be difficult and will take time so I might also file an asylum request to apply for an EAD. My asylum request will almost certainly be denied, but getting an EAD for a couple of years (Asylum decisions take years with a good lawyer that can appeal) will buy me time to hopefully complete the EB3 process.

If none of this works, probably move to Canada.
