Dream Act 2017 please! It has no age cap. This will satisfy 2001 version too.

It honestly is the perfect storm in our favor. We are at present more exposed than most immigrants, so even other immigration groups have to cave to the reality that we are the priority in need of protection, and using us as a keystone for CIR is dangerously irresponsible.

The facts are that:

We wouldn't be getting legislation w/DACA in place
Rescinding DACA brought huge deal of favorable attention from the media (due in part to the unpopularity of Trump).
Rescinding DACA w/6 months reprieve killed most ongoing threats of lawsuit (which could've stopped DACA immediately if courts ruled so).
Rescinding DACA w/deadline puts huge deal of pressure on the Legislative to resolve the issue.
Republicans need a win bad after all the crap they've gotten shut down.

Still hard to keep hopes up having lived through this several times.

RIGHT ON THE MONEY! At this time it is VERY easy to be negative..and I think we have all the right to be (being that we had our hopes killed multiple times in the past). This is not the first time we go through this. But let's all hope that the sad news of DACA being rescinded is a blessing in disguise for better things to come for us.
