If it's attached to a must pass spending bill, yes

Presumably some things can be done to keep the government running for a few months. Even after the negotiations stall, however, this will bring down Tax Reform along with it. At this point Trump might as well start attacking republicans and jump on board with DA. The GOP would be collapsing as we get closer to 2018.

The difference now is that we have overwhelming public support, so republicans blocking DA would just hurt them in the long run.

I think he would sign it but the chances of that happening aren't too high. Republicans will ask for increased border security at least. The majority of Republicans don't want the wall or Raise Act either.

I think it's been expected. DA will never pass alone, why should it? The problem will be here again in 10-20 years. It honestly makes sense to add border enforcement to it to at least prevent this from happening again. At least they stopped with the wall money.

You're never going to get a clean amnesty bill especially when Republicans are in control of Congress. That's just delusional

Paul Ryan is running out of leverage. He's not going to be able to sustain this. He has already failed multiple times and Trump is running out of patience. He's going to have to bring something up for a vote. Don't worry guys. The politics is slightly in our favor right now. And the biggest thing is he is favorable of Dreamers. He just needs to find the fucking balls to lead this and Democrats should be willing to put in some border security measures.

Add the some border enforcement, but this is not Comprehensive Immigration Reform.

When they do do CIR, then they can fix the problem. The Dream Act should not have too many extras as it's more widely accepted.

Edit: by fix the problem, I mean stopping future waves of unauthorized immigration
