They might be calling the Republicans bluff, a No vote by their party would really highlight how inept they are at doing anything. Also, it is going to give them more bad PR. Might trigger Trump's rage as well.

I can see it already. Trump on twitter going off on Republicans for not passing DA. That might be the plan. Force compromise to get it done before December.

McConnell added a provision to be able to extend the debt ceiling talks into 2018. They would still need to pass budget bills with Dem support, that's where the leverage is. Hopefully it does not come to that, but with Republicans.. its the likely outcome.

I'm almost tearing up seeing this support. It seems we're so close to getting the relief we have always sought.

I told reporters today that Democrats will pursue every option to bring the #DREAMAct to the Floor & #ProtectDREAMers

Pelosi didn't really say much. Just that they want to get it done by December.

True. I hope they use the leverage they've been promising in December.

Democratic donors are probably really pressing them to pass this by all means.

First push for DA will be for a clean bill. I guess that will show where we stand as far as votes and what needs to be added in order for it to pass.
