They'll get it done. Paul Ryan is Donald Trump's little bitch. He'll follow orders.

ok this is bad based on my two cents. those enforcements can be things like e-verify which would deport innocent parents of dacaers or even the raise act which would screw up everything.

sometimes its important to look beyond self-interests and also paul ryan is a known snake

This is inaccurate. Everify does not deport anyone; it requires that employers check for work authorization.

The presumption of your argument is that we all currently live in this magical bubble where we are untouched. Not true. Are we forgetting that we are still susceptible to raids and tough employment verification measures?

I live in southern California. As liberal as California is, there are still border patrol and ice raids. Many of the immigrants I know do not hold any mainstream jobs because employers are already starting to crack down. What you preach is counterproductive. Now is the time to strengthen our community by compromising and getting something done for dreamers who can use their education to defend the community. Compromising does not mean we will feed our parents to the liones; you argument presumes that, and it's inaccurate. Stop fear mongering. As is, we do not live in a magical protective bubble.

Just give up border security and the border wall, if they were gonna do CIR to all 11 million people then the RAISE Act could be considered

IF we're just talking border security (e.g. Additional border patrol, remote surveillance, etc) then it's not a terrible compromise. These types of implementations would cut down on future illegal immigration. I'm not a big fan of e-verify because it's costly and is not accurate enough, however, that and the RAISE act deal with issues beyond border security.

Bad bunny you face three options: 1) reject all compromises and self-deport for the sake of advancing idealistic values that really do not do shit four our plight, 2) reject all compromises or return to the shadows and suffer fucking hell (I have lived it before; I am 31 and have been here since the age of 4--been through it all, and I wonder if you lived through the pre-DACA era), or 3) you compromise and get shit done.

I always wonder why some of you actually have the audacity to assume these idealistic political positions. Won't you lose your job if nothing gets done? What are you going to do for sustenance? What about deportation protection? Do you live in a damn cave where nobody can find you? Not even satan himself?

Seriously I'm shocked daily at how comfortably people speak about rejecting compromises
