I wouldn't say generous, but definitely the lesser of the 2 evils. I have heard them talk Dream Act for 17 years. Now is the time for action.

We need Rep Gutierrez as house leadership.

Right. When in September us DreamAct going to be offered? What is on the Senate calendar for the rest of the month in September?

he House this week quietly pushed aside some of the most controversial proposals in President Trump’s budget request.

But there’s a long way to go before any cuts become law.

The 12-bill package approved on Thursday will not become law; the Senate is still working through its own appropriations using a completely different set of numbers, and will require Democratic support to overcome a filibuster.

Okay Dems have a chance here . When does this budget need to be approved?

Padilla said Pelosi and Schumer have put the future of Dreamers on their shoulders. “If they fail, it’s on them,” he said.

In the House, 90 Republicans opposed the Trump-Schumer-Pelosi deal on Thursday. That gives Democrats leverage, Gutierrez argued, to force a vote on the Dream Act by mid-December.

They should just attach DA and give him the 1.6 billion for the wall.

Who cares anymore, Trump and Republicans are taking this country down anyways.

This is about real people. I don't care for politicians, Democrat or Republican, who present FALSE choices.

It's not one solution at the expense of other solutions. Pres.Trump knows that as a business man. DreamAct is a solution ready to be enacted

Do it now and move on to help on the budget, taxes, health care, etc. You will allow people who are American in every other way to finally belong. You will increase the taxpayer pool, and even gain Republican voters - many of whom have made their intent to register Republican quite clear in this forum. Cut out the bullshit.

There is a process to attach riders to a bill, and it can be complicated.

Making promises does not do thing. Look how many times the Rs promised to repeal obamacare. Nancy & Schumer can promise things but to deliver them requires work and compromise. If not we will get another do nothing congress for 4 years.
