Both parties have something to gain from passing DREAMer legislation. All these talks are delineating the terms and conditions being agreed upon prior to an actual vote which in my opinion gives both parties equal pressure and responsibility to actually get legislation passed. Treading lightly is smart on both ends especially when 2018 midterms are itching closer and closer. So close and yet so far it seems...
