He is not clueless. He just plain out hates anything that isn't white and christian. That's it.

Hopefully everyone ignores Miller:

@JuanSaaa

Hearing reports that Stephen Miller is trying to undermine POTUS on #DACA / #DreamAct. Not first time Miller (Sessions Jr) does this.

OP didn't quot the most egregious details of thier planned proposal:

"In addition to provisions in the RAISE Act, the White House’s immigration principles also include parts of the Davis-Oliver Act, including measures that would give state and local law enforcement power to enforce immigration laws, allow states to write their own immigration laws and expand criminal penalties for entering the U.S. illegally. "

Which basically means no DA, if insisted upon. They won't even get a majority of the Republican's to support them at this rate.

Its either a willful and deliberate attempt to sabotage any chance at negotiations or that they are too stupid and inept to even be mindful of it. I suspect the former.

Its almost as though we are back to where we were two months ago, because Trump cannot even make up his goddamn mind - assuming he even has one, since he is liable to change his mind once he finds himself in a roomful of different people with different demands.

Their is no long game for Trump; he is absolutely destitute of any fixed views - i.e. principles, convictions, commitments and believes, apart from his own self-interest; he is like an animal that lives in the now, for the validation and approval of others alone.

And he abhors all details. But that is what immigration is all about (in fact, governing in general), the granular level of details.

always remember, Stephen Miller was a Jeff Sessions aide when he was a senator. Miller always killed any sort of immigration reform efforts during the time Sessions was a Senator. Sad!

Miller just needs to go home and put on some Rogaine!!! foh b.

Call me overly optimistic, but didn't Miller already release HIS "immigration demands" (not the white house's official list), like a week ago? I doubt there will be much revision, but maybe they'll change it up a bit?
I still think something will pass with or without Trump's approval or support, and I think he'll still sign it. At this point, I feel like he's just going with Miller to appease his base.
