It’s so funny, but does the GOP want CIR or not? Lol because if they want all these demands then they better be ready to pass CIR. Such hypocrisy! They claim CIR doesn’t work, but then they release this shit.

They want to get rid of as many illegals as they can before passing any CIR, if it ever comes to that.

They don't. This is why they are frontloading their wishlist on legislative DACA.

The legislative DACA is the last immigration deal they want to make.

honestly illegal immigration is something these dude can run their campaign on. to get rid of their scapegoat would leave their base with no one to point the finger at (except maybe themselves) when it comes to why their lives aren't as great.

Then they would blame affirmative action. Always a scapegoat.

I respectfully disagree. That doesn't make sense to me. Immigration will continue to be a permanent problem until they legalize or deal with the rest of the undocumented population, including the "new" dreamers who would be eligible for Daca today but can't apply, as well as those crossing the border/entering today as kids (like us).

They can't make this Daca deal and be done with immigration forever.

ICE can only handle so much. They can't deport all undoc folks. Just not logistically possible.

DA is just the beginning. Congress has proven that they can't do CIR. So only option left now is piecemeal solution with sprinkling of border security and stuff to appease GOP.

It was only Boehner that blocked vote on CIR of 2013.

It was only a boner.
