I am afraid that it will remain on the table and Democrats won't have the balls to do anything. Hopefully, I am wrong. I just don't think any negotiation with Republicunts will work. Only holding a must-pass legislation hostage may work.

Democrats have now told three different stories:
DreamAct would be attached to must-pass legislation in September - but they did not attach it to the continuing resolution!!
DreamAct would be attached to other must-pass legislation (??)
A deal was struck w Trump and DreamAct just needs to be included in the budget.

I don't remember the Democrats ever promising to attach DREAM Act to must-pass legislation in September. They have only floated the idea of attaching DREAM Act to the budget in December.

I can go back and try to find the articles.

That still leaves 2/3 different stories. Democrats are asking communities to wait until last minute to see IF DreamAct can pass. Nonsense.

It’s a political ploy. They are trying to vehemently fight for us, while at the same time making Republicans look bad.

Democrats found a message the day Trump canceled daca. Suddenly, people remembered what they stood for. Also with the healthcare fight, and now opposing the 1% in tax reform.

I don't think these are 'stories'. I believe Trump did agree in their meeting to DREAM Act + border security deal (without a border wall). The issue isn't them - it's Trump. His word means nothing.
