Agree with Fl_Dreamer that I would prefer if they just took some action in Dec. I suppose extending it would be a good last resort option if Congress absolutely cannot pass anything. Hopefully it doesn't come to that!

Well that will be great. Let me get one more renewal in and AP, and I'll be set. This will suck for those expiring from March-June. Most will expire before their renewal is approved.

1. He cannot be trusted
2. Democrats vowed to make this happen before December's recess.
3. Cannot squander the opportunity for permanent relief now.

Sadly, we have seen this promise before from Democrats when they were in power and delivered nothing. The time is now.

Also, there are crises in health care, the environment, education, taxes, plus next year elections, that make the possibility of a bill even less likely.
I spoke to my SEIU union about this and the expectation and support are for a bill before December.

i agree.. I feel like it will definitely take away the momentum... plus what if it's just a strategy by Trump and the Republicans to say this so that the Democrats ease up and maybe not attach a dreamer bill to one of the must-pass bills? And then come January, Dems lose leverage.

It won't be extended, the BRIDGE Act will pass. That's what I'm betting my money on if push comes to shove.
