The Democrats are looking to add DREAM Act to the must pass budget legislation. This needs to pass by Dec. 8th. I don't expect any significant movement on the issue until we get closer to that deadline.

based on the reactions, i shouldnt have posted this article.

anyways, both sides are just playing hardball. thats how it always is in any negotiations.

they will eventually meet in the middle in the next few months, if no compromise is met The Dream Act as a "rider amendment" with other issues (e.g child healthcare insurance program, cost sharing reduction, etc.) will pass with 100% certainty in December via Budget bill to avoid govt shutdown.

i know the wait is killing 2MoreYears..lol don't worry brother, we're almost there!

It’s october and the group Ryan set up has said nothing.

Trust me, compromise is impossible. Democrats need to attach this to a budget bill and pass it or govt shutdown. Republicans are lazer focused on tax reform. Daca will take a back seat to them and nothing will be passed because come spring, they will be locked in primary challenges from Bannon.

Trump will attach Wall Funding to the must pass spending bill

Only way forward is to attach DA to the same spending bill

If not, we are toast.

he cant attach shit, congress has the power of the purse and legislative power.

here you go again bro, making assinine claims and predictions

Got_Dacas timeline:

1. Only way is DA + Raise Act - July - Aug 2017
2. Only way is DA + Border Security - Aug - October 2017

3. now its DA + Must pass legislation. Oct - Dec 2017

gotta make up your mind brother, you change your policy proposals every 2-3 months.

To his defense, we can only "make up our mind" based on what he hear/read in the news which means to be different each day lately

thats why i told you guys not to take articles posted srsly and to heart. because most of them are misdirections. we dont really know what goes on behind the scenes.

i always said since DACA ended in Sept 5th that the Dream Act will pass as an amendment via budget reconcilation and govt funding.

but that doesnt mean we should disregard compromise, because compromise can still happen by December.

nobody will be toast, nobody is going back to the shadows.

Ryan is too scared to meet with DREAMers from his home state.

dude thats fine but to be fair, can't really take you serious when you say,

"Trump will attach Wall Funding to the must pass spending bill"

the President cant do that, only Congress can do that.

POTUS cannot attach, earmark, or appropriate funds for anything, only Congress' legislative powers can do that.

"Just because you loved to suck yo mommas tits as a child doesnt mean you still love to suck on them"

and that was a very bad analogy at the end btw. you shouldve just sticked to a weather analogy. lol
