Solution is very simple mitch:
Dream Act
DV quota increased to 100,000 with an option to suspend it for a country with terrorists.
Family quota doubled.

All three items get checked off.

This diversity visa thing was a huge failure to begin with. It has ruined this nation and let terrorists in.

Terrorist is synonymous with middle eastern.

Seriously how many cases of terrorists that entered on DV were there? 1?

There were two that came as refugees, and a few others that came in as Students.

It's D r e a m A c t not "Daca"

And it should be the *minimum* in exchange for closing the diversity visa program plus the giveawsy of taxpayer $$$ to Republican donor- contractors for the waste of a physical wall.

They know that Dream Act can pass so they are trying to sabotage it.

Its just a narrative, just like they say all Latinos are drug mules, gang members, etc.

Our only hope at this point is a shut down. Either Schumer grows a pair and gets this passed or we’re screwed. Because it is clear they will give us BRIDGE in March in exchange for their wishlist of hardliner bullshit.

Hi, @freshh

BRIDGEshit is a con to make only those w active Daca permits - not even all Daca eligible- perpetual 2nd class residents.

No.

DreamAct will save kids in detention, those who missed Daca but who are American jn every way, and those too young to qualify.

The stupidity of the Obama administration in drafting Daca was putting ridiculous, discriminatory, and arbitrary age caps. For something out of everyone's control. And don't get me started on the mass criminalization of immigrant communities.

Reagan Amnesty did not say to qualifying individuals they were too young or too old for residency. Either they qualified by date of entry or not.
TPS beneficiaries don't have age caps or age limits. Either you were present when TPS was enacted or not!

Let's fight for Dream Act!

All I know is that Dems better know this is the last opportunity to do something because after this there's no more leverage and they'll find any excuse not to act or to hold us ransom for a bunch of extremist shit. I want the DA badly but I'll lower my expectations and settle for Bridge Act..
