The state, thing is that the state doesn't really go out and hire a lawyer. They have their staff of state attorneys that handle lawsuits for and against the state, these are generally salaried employees.

Have you called and written your congress persons and senators?

But one can argue these salaried people can be doing other jobs instead right?

Or are these state attorneys not busy?
