No it's not. If you want DA to pass you want them to either attach it to tax reform and pass it. If they are unwilling to do that then you want tax reform to fail (bad bill anyways). That means they have done shit all year. When spending bill comes, they are more likely to fold. No real legislative win + government shut = good game for the GOP majority.

Hopefully it fails in the Senate, it would make Repubes desperate to pass something! Anything!

House now out of session until week after Thanksgiving - we have 12 legislative days left in the year. Democrats will be looking for a #DACA deal amid the pressing need to fund the government past Dec. 8th

Yeah they can pass anything in the house. Only the Democratic Senate has any leverage over Republicans. They are going to have to give up something to get Democrats votes.

They sound so stupid thinking they’ll be able to tote tax reform like some damn sucessive legislation. They’ll be hiding from it in no time, and they won’t have Obama to blame for it anymore. It’s going to hurt the very constituents they claim to need a legislative win for. Tbh let them pass it, fuck it. Whether it passes or not, the GOP is coming to an end. We just need Democrats to hold strong!!!
