Yeah and it wouldn't be wise to say yeah we are going to pass it. Then the GOP would receive more pressure from their base to act against it.

That article is very short and I wouldn’t doubt that Durbin is putting on his poker face so the Republican Party supporters don’t get their panties in a bunch ....

I really hope Durbin is putting on his poker face too :/. This is our best chance at something passing. I hope Democrats stand their ground and not cave in, otherwise, we are screwed.

Different circumstances don't compare. Even if it sounds crazy we have better chances to pass it under trump than with obama.
