BRIDGE act at this point makes no sense considering how much leverage the Democrats have. If they do agree on the BRIDGE act I can already see the GOP saying “Well, there’s no rush, we still have 3 years to fix the issue”

Screw Bridge act! this is only going to kick the can down the road for 3 more years. We need a PERMANENT solution. It is now or never.

This bill is basically "We'll give you 3 more years and deport you"

Right!? why trade such a historic chance at passing something more permanent for a mediocre solution such as BRIDGE act. Doing that would only leave us in a limbo for three more years.

Permanent tough border security and enforcement for a 3 year non-renewable work permit. SMH!

The GOP is in denial if they expect to get border security and other measures just for the BRIDGE act. We all know how that’s going to end. Congress is going to sit there and do nothing and will be back in square one once the 3 years end.

I always thought worse case scenario that BRIDGE act was what we were going to get. But at this point in time, we are so far in that we can get something better than that.
