Sounds like a good deal.

Idk wat this idiot trump is talking about, they want to vet? Crime free? Pouring in? We're already inside! And most of us are awesome ppl contributing to the economy that idiots like trump destroyed. This guy is sooo disconnected from the real world -___-

I recommend you read the god damn Raise Act before you call it a good deal. Unless of course you're a toothless hillbilly from Alabama.

Evidently there will not be a clean bill. Both sides will have to give and take.

I see two possible reasons as to why he's pushing that line.

1. He doesn't want to pass DA or a DACA fix anymore

2. He's trying to act tough on immigration for his base. He is spreading a rumor, a problem, which is that illegals are pouring in unchecked. I believe his end game is to get increased border security and end the dv lottery visa from Democrats. If he gets that, he will then turn around and say, I did it, I solved our immigrant problem, we can now vet these immigrants further and control who's coming in. In exchange, we get DA.

I think no one wants to say okay we got a deal and this is what's going to happen, media will go bizarre. Whatever they decide in the meeting tomorrow, they will do last minute deal for DACA.

Looking over his comnents, I say he is attacking Dems who want a clean bill. He wants concessions.

I kept telling the clean bill people this. But no. Youkept pushing. We either go back to the shadows over a clean bill or we give some concessions and get status?

What is it going to be?

This is why his illegal immigration statements dont make sense to us because we are already here. He wants concessions on border security to deter future illegal immigration.

You know, if it was anyone BUT Donald Trump I'd be willing to believe there's some grander scheme at play, like I'd definitely accuse Ryan of padding his own ass so the freedom caucus doesn't force some other compromise candidate.

But Donald Trump? No fucking way, man is a god damn simpleton with 0 attention span that can only think of solutions or bargains that a 5 year old would make?
1. Illegal immigrants? Wall.
2. Paying too much in taxes? Get rid of them.
3. Kids will lose on the estate taxes? Abolish that tax in particular.
4. FBI director is sniffing around too much? Fire him.
5. AG is being useless? Fire him? Can't? Well shit make his life miserable and maybe he'll quit.
6. People want to see your taxes? Lie you can't show them because reasons.

This is what I kinda expect if there is a deal it will pass in the dead of night and we'll all only know because the government didn't shutdown at midnight. Then there's going to be frantic looking around to see if Dream Act was even voted on and if it passed.

I know Raise is not ideal but why is it a deal breaker?
