I find it difficult to believe Dems would lose so much leverage on something temporary like the BRIDGE Act. lmfao We may disagree with them at times, but I don't think they are absolute morons.

If they push this to 2018 it will be very disapointing
Chuck's traditional ways of waiting and doing things isnt working, come up with a solution now! Extend another two weeks and we still wont get any further. Theyre all just delaying and playing games. We need to keep putting the pressure especially with democrats since they need to be held accountable for what they say that they stand for.

lol.
as stupid as dems are there's no way they're clueless enough to agree to a BRIDGE act. this article made me nervous a little though.
that would just make it much more obvious to literally everyone that having people stay illegal and undocumented/without legal status is a $$$ business at the end of the day.

This article is so sensationalist. Trump has repeatedly said he doesn't want to deport 'dreamers'. He even went as far as to say he loves dreamers.

The democrats need to stand up for the issues that they say they "care" about. If they really cared about solving the DACA issue, they shouldn't have voted for the last CR.

They keep saying they want to find a solution for DACA, but when it was time to vote for the CR they gave in. Take tax reform for example, republicans were working after midnight to pass their bill. Democrats need to show that they are committed on helping us and stop postponing the issue by passing any CR. They always say they care about us, but they never prove it.

Republicans want to push it to two weeks to finalize the deal and write the legislation. The good thing is democrats have a seat at the table for the long term spending bill because Ryan and McConnell know how much of their caucuses they’ll lose in the process.

And Ryan is still insisting DACA not be part of spending bill

@MEPFuller

Paul Ryan once again says DACA will be separate from spending negotiations.

Ok that makes me feel apprehensive. We can have all the support in the world from all senators and house reps, but if their leadership does not want to cooperate nothing will be done

Lets start (yet another) countdown to 2018.. Might as well start one for March 2018 - you know the day we all no longer have any hope!
