The Democrats' cowardice on shutting down the government is too funny. Over 3 in 4 Americans support the Dreamers and yet Democrats don't realize they are on the winning side even if the shutdown does get triggered.

They are too concerned about their 2018 prospects that they don't want to do anything to tarnish their rep b4 the election.

Dem's must be punished. I would rather the Republicans take the Senate by 60 seats than see Dem's continue to use us for $$.
I agree that Hillary would not have helped our cause but then we also would not have been loosing our sleep and minds! I am afraid Republicans will slap the Bridge Act on us and call it a day.

I am over corporate Dems, we need progressives that will fight for us! Our cause is going to lead to a Democratic Party revolt of we are not included in the next spending bill
Haha...sadly we're not that important to cause a political revolution inside the democratic party. If we were, then there would have been one already...right around when Obama was president.

There are many more liberals now. Evidence by the groups threatening democrats not to end 2017 without a fix for us. Democrats won in Alabama, mind you they ran a liberal. They need to realize they need to stand for something to draw our their electorate. Millenials are going to be pissed and won’t vote if DACA is not addressed.

Things have changed. Many of us weren't adults when Obama had a majority. DACA gave us time to build up funds, get a taste of freedom. When you take that away, people will not just go back into the shadows. I know I won't.

Well, good. If Dems throw us under the bus again, I really hope the right-wingers go full fascist mode and take as much control as possible. Even if they round us up and deport us: at that point, it wouldn't even be about staying in the country anymore, but making sure the people who betrayed us suffer the consequences.

It's great that you, and many others, want (even expect/demand) more than DACA. This willful mentality may be what eventually gets the DREAM Act to go through.

Regardless, if I were given a choice between DACA now (with no strings attached) or the DREAM Act maybe tomorrow, I would choose DACA in a heartbeat. Too many here think Republicans will give the Bridge Act to us after December/January spending bill. I doubt it. Democrats will refuse the RAISE Act and border funds in exchange for the Bridge Act.

Yeah, I am not about revenge so I wish you luck with that mindset. I just want to be able to drive, work and travel the world!
