Trump may get a piece of his wall, asylum rules changed, court procedures changed, maybe the raise act etc etc or he gets absolutely nothing. We also get absolutely nothing. I don’t think either side wants that.

While we call it the “daca fix” (since that’s the only part we’re focused on) Trump gets his win by reshaping the immigration system. This is why we get relief. Paul Ryan, McConnell et al fall in line.
Exactly...This requires a careful balance. Well said!

That is pretty much the story of our lives right there. I always knew it was gonna come down to next year so I'm like whatever right now thanks to not letting my hopes go wild. Let's see mid January, we're only three weeks away.

Santa clause will deliver the Democrats some balls for Christmas. They’ll either go home to their wives and disappoint them again or pass the dream act. Balls in their court

Perfect scenario IMO would be DA in exchange for:

-Visa lottery
-Chain migration, ( only wife, -18 kids and parents allowed)
-Border security ( includes portions of the fence )
-Interior enforcement

Not sure if I heard something I read something or I am hallucinating (looks like got some infection or some flu) but looks like they will deal with us + some shit for Trump, and later on in the year more broad immigration reform and maybe something for our parents....

No way broader immigration is happening anytime soon!

Things will be alright. We need to focus on pressure Republicans to give us GC or ciitizenshios in their upcoming immigration bill. For now y'all need to enjoy life and keep living it as if daca never ended.

Dang, atleast Durbin has been honest with us. It's a great thing I didn't listen to 'GC's before christmas eveyone!!' threads that has been popping up. Odds are stack against us, if the dem couldn't get the DA passed with super majority, they will have a very challenging time ahead of them now that we have a bi-polar president.

I love Durbin, and while I appreciate his efforts it’s time to vote the Democrats out who aren’t standing with us. Starting with Feinstein. Anyone in California that has families and friends that can legally vote should encourage all of them to vote against Feinstein come primaries and general election if she makes it that far. We can not become like the African American community. Were they pander to us come election time and then give us the boot right after. It’s time for us to wake up.
