Fuck a 3 year extension. Guys need to stop being so complacent when you know you can get more with border security concessions. Stop acting like the Democrats.

If the issue does get addressed in Jan, I hope something passes. Dems I insist are being spineless. Pass that shit now.
Agreed. But republicans are not even talking to them about a bipartisan spending bill. Their trying to pass shit on their own. Thank god this is the last CR they can pass. Ryan will need to reach out to Democrats in a larger spending deal.

If the democrats cave that’s what we will get.

3 Years give people plenty of time to prepare for many things. You can find someone to marry and get a relief that way, or save enough money to move to a different country.
At this point, Dreamers have gotten so much public attention and support that it's very unlikely that this issue will go completely forgotten. That's why I'm optimistic about our future.
I hope everyone here just relax for now and try to enjoy the holiday.

We’ll get what we fight for. Times have changed and Democrats cannot expect to use us to gain votes anymore if they don’t intend to help us.

Dude you could’ve found someone to get married in last 6 years... you can find a job in today’s world and move to a different country in 2-3 months not 2-3 years. Makes no sense to extend this crap for 3 years. Might as well kick me out now and force me to make a move... rather than giving me yet another false hope.

Well think of it as worst comes scenario. Of course something permanent will be much more preferred, but if that's all we're getting, I'm taking it.

Geeez! I'm gone for a few days and so many things happened! Saddening to see we might not get our Christmas GCs :/. Do you believe Bridge Act is the only possibility now? What about Flake's bill? I thought that one had bipartisan support.

I am going to put all my chips on Jeff Flake. The odds seem slim but he isn’t trying to please his donors like the rest of the politicians in Washington. I am all in on this one, I hope it doesn’t come down to bridge act. I am not going to bitch about it since it is completely out of my hands and I have no say in it.
