All these new sites just want hits and views and recycled info. That’s all. Nothing new here folks. We’re not royally screwed and priorities remain intact. Looking forward to a big 4 meeting soon, whenever that might be.

House Majority Leader McCarthy on if he is confident a DACA proposal would be done by Jan 19th: “That is a short time frame but we are working, we will see.”

House Majority Leader McCarthy asked if he would put the bipartisan senate DACA working group proposal on the floor: “I don’t know. I don’t know what’s in their package.”

McCarthy on #2s DACA group: "At the end of the day it’s not just us four doing this, you saw everybody around the table yesterday. We will continue to work with that group but the four got together to help set the structure of the meetings going forward.”

Cornyn on release of #2s DACA proposal: “we are just talking. I think Senator Durbin expressed a desire to shoot for the 19th as our deadline and we all said we want to do it as soon as we can come to an agreement.”

This doesn't change anything in terms of perceived urgency.

It's the Republicans' best chance at getting some major concessions (wall funding, DV lottery, chain migration) out of the Dems from a DACA deal, they'd be insane to call it off just b/c DACA has been temp. re-instated.

Everybody will be getting what they wanted through this deal.

I hope they don’t even consider the Goodlatte bill since it goes way beyond the parameters.

They’ll probably try to kick the can to February, but democrats are gonna be under immense pressure to get the dream act attached on any spending deal. I don’t think the gop has the votes to pass another CR especially with sequestration

What complexity? There's a gazillion versions of DREAM Act out there and then just add some border security language and end diversity lottery. How long can that take?

I know, but that argument isn't as strong as it used to be with Trump admitting he would sign anything they passed.
