Jeff Sessions already making moves to stop the ruling. I also wouldn’t be surprised if they have the Supreme Court make an emergency ruling regarding this matter to stop it from implementing again.

Wait, what happens after March 5th? We lose protection? We get to keep our work permits until they are expired but if we get pulled over or anything, we can get arrested?

Protections until we expire. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if ICE is sent to dreamers addresses shortly after we expire. Fits Trump's MO.

March 5th was just a fictitious dateline. You still keep your work permit until it expires. Technically DACA was killed on Oct 5th of 2017. March 5th was just a deadline Trump gave to Congress regarding DACA.

You are allow to keeping working and living in United States until your DACA status expires. After that, back to the shadow unless you can find other ways to adjust your status.

I wonder what strategies the immigration groups are going to use now? To be honest, I'm only expecting Trump to "extend" Daca now... it's hard to see anything else getting done. The fucking Dems are so broken, they will bend before the racists. I don't see them use their so-called leverage. Why aren't Chuck and Nancy talking to trump and negotiate a deal for spending bill including a solution to DACA? like WTF are they doing to help!

You are protected until your DACA expires, which should match with your EAD. So if it expires next year you are good, but if it expires on march 5th, then yeah you could be arrested at that point if you get pulled over, and they ask for your papers, and you are not in a sanctuary city.

Trump is NOT going to extend DACA. That would mean a new executive order on an act he had said was unconstitutional and it would also anger his base. The judge’s ruling could be his ticket way out but he has already tweeted he’s against it and his department of justice is already looking into blocking the judge’s decision.
