And it is delusional to think any chances to pass DA this year after DACA is resurrected. As we are close to mid election (it takes a long time to repeal), no one will risk. There is already lack of unity in D to stand up against the whole gov shutdown. I am glad people can work again, and I certainly can renew again if this goes on until 2019, but I am hopeless. DA is not dead, but so much harder to pass now.

we're not even close to midterms, and you over-estimate america's attention span.
trump's main agenda for 2018 is immigration and welfare reform.
even in worst case scenario that nothing happens, we're gonna be brought up non-stop as the year goes on.
how else is he going to get his wall?

When rhe spending is passed, he does not need D’s votes at all. It will end up like tax reform. The spending bill has a higher margin to pass now. R will lobby the more conservative D to vote on a spending bill that they can accept. Think about it!

This is a double loss for Trump.

1. He doesn't get his wall.
2. The Dems use daca and trump racism as taking of in November.

So he is bluffling and something will pass, me thinks.

I'm thinking he'll get Dem votes he needs to pass the spending bill. Dems are not unified like the GOP.

I am not one bit surprised by this. Trump doesn’t even understand what DACA is, he thinks 3 million people benefit from it and it’s amnesty. Sadly his stupid base thinks the same. Either way, I hope something is brought to the table this week. This has gone above and beyond a game of politics.

Durbin and his bipartisan group are going to be putting this on the fucking floor. They better vote for it or else Republicans are going to be toast in mid-term elections. No Dream Act no wall!
