If Dems don't shut govt down this fucking week, we shouldn't even let them use us for midterm. What's the point? They are shit too.

The time for negotiations is over. There's absolutely nothing else left to discuss. If they haven't been able to hash out something that would please the asshat in chief there's only one thing left to do and that is a shutdown (which won't happen). Two more weeks is not going to solve anything.

They better fucking get it done by Friday or stop using us for their political games.

Easy message for Democrats:
We will not fund the deportation of 800,000 young Americans who’ve been here since they were born
We will not fund a government that ends health insurance for 9 million kids
We will not fund a government that pays for more weapons by cutting education

this month was our month until this weekend controversy which erupted into blame game for both sides didn't help us. I think another CR should do it as I'm thinking it will put tremendous pressure on Congress to act and people will be frustrated with small CR's....I understand everyone is frustrated as this is taking too long and painful....BUT right now there is high animosity among both parties because of the controversy...one more small CR will give some time to cool things down and give breathing space to both parties and come up with something and finally the president will realize its too much to drag on.... Let see what happens all eyes on Friday.

Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul said Democrats are playing hardball over illegal immigrants who were brought to the U.S. as children because they believe they’ll get what they want, and are therefore unwilling to compromise.

Paul said on NBC’s “Meet The Press” Sunday that he’s been negotiating with Democrats on the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, or DACA, program for months but has gotten no where. He said that’s because the minority party is haughtily unwilling to compromise.

He said he’s floated a deal where all the Dreamers could be admitted to the country as legal immigrants and count toward the number of immigrants allowed in during that year.

“The Democrats have sort of sniffed at this and said, no, we want just, you know, our Dreamer act without anything,” he said. “But now I think the president has changed the dynamic. … The Dreamers are going to get naturalized, but there is going to have to be something for border security and it has to be real and has to be significant.”

he's not wrong, the Dems are being unreasonable bcuz they have "leverage."

we can't have a clean dream act because this situation is gonna happen again 5-10 yrs from now and i wouldnt want anyone else go through what we went through the last 17 years.
