Durbin fought for us when nobody thought our issue was important. For that, I will always feel indebted to him. He is one of the few Democrats who truly wants to help us.

Dems have to shut the government down or we will get nothing.

Dems won't shut the government down because they are spineless, and because they won't risk they congress spots on midterm year.
And as I said before, GOP is a bunch of racists who want us out of here.

I think Dreamers should take the streets once again, waiting on the good faith of the Dems and GOP will be our demise.

Because we literally have no where to go! Many of us do not remember the countries we were born in. America has given us free education for 18 years of our life. They have already made an investment in us. BIG BIG BIG difference between the two groups! I don't know why the fk people keep confusing the two groups!

Well ICE just deported a 39 year old man (too old for DACA) who arrived as a child (at age 10). He is a DREAMer with no criminal record. He has a wife, and two kids. If you think this administration views you differently, they don't.

Garcia had been facing an order of removal from immigration courts since 2009, but under the previous administration, he had been given stays of removal. But because of the Trump administration's immigration crackdown, Garcia was ordered in November to return to Mexico. His supporters say he has no criminal record — not even a traffic ticket — and pays taxes every year.
Quote:
Garcia said he had asked ICE if they could wait until new DACA legislation is passed, which might expand the age range for immigrants to qualify. But, he said, they refused and said he had to leave by Jan. 15.

To us and 79% of the American people, we are worth protecting. But the only person that matters is Trump since he is the president. Do you think he actually care about us? To him, we are all from shithole countries who come to the United States to rape and commit crimes. We either have to get a deal with him or force he into signing DACA fix by adding it to spending bill. Since getting a deal with him is not very likely at this point, we have to force him.

We all thought Trump would end DACA on day 1.

Turns out he could finish any hopes for legislation on year 1.

If all fails, we fared much better than we expected.

Some might get daca protection well into 2020.

Now i see why you cant negotiate with fools and fanatics. You just dont go anywhere.

Lets hope our renewals give us ample time.

I am done waiting something out of a fool Trump.

Some people on TPS, aged out, and young dreamers are in the same position as you. No matter how hard you try to believe there's no difference. At the end of the day this country hates us and don't care what our situation is. They want us out. So stop complaining and hope for the best.
