would be dumb for them to vote for it now. they are in too deep without getting daca. if they don't continue now it's unlikely they will shut it down again on feb 8. Schumer needs to whip up the votes. Everyone needs to start pointing the blame to trump for the shutdown and pressure him to cave first.

I mean, they'll still have leverage again on Feb 8th if McConnell breaks his promises (which nobody believes) but if they don't even hold out for more than two days they'll cave again then.

It would be a huge mistake taking pressure off republicans. And starting March republicans will have the upper hand we will be done.
