If I can read the tea leaves of clapping, sounds to me that Dems aren't gonna budge and that this vote at noon will fail.

More applause, some cheering from
Senate Dem meeting.

They would look really stupid. That would mean they shut it down once, got nothing in return and now shut it down again...

If this is it true.. it would be huge and in expected. I wonder what Dems are hearing from their party on this Shutdown... that is what might drive this Shutdown to continue is that it pumps up their base and shows how much they are saying fuck you to trump

I really hope Miller gets fucked over. He’s the main cause of this shutdown.

They are lying to get past SOTU. It will be DEVASTATING to have a gov shutdown while Trump is giving a speech about how good things are going...
Sounds like a good Black Mirror episode.

Valid points, question is will democrats think that they got something to win by keeping this shut down or will they start loosing their base. It’s not us that Dems care about they just want to prove and continue to have a message by the elections to say, hey you told us to fight this bigot and we did it.... now imagine what we can do if we have power in both chambers etc.
