youd think an issue like this, dealing with “American kids” brought to this country to no fault of their own would be common sense.

im more sad for them (government) than us Dreamers.

This is bullshit and outright political cynicism.

We have been working this week with progressive groups who are onto the Democrats and Republican games.

Guys, don't buy into it. Keep organizing and pressuring. They are buying themselves time. It's not fair and it's not right.

Schumer and Pelosi and Durbin need to lead. Where is the counter offer to the White House plan? Where is the negotiating?

There is a deep divide in this country and unfortunately we are caught in the middle. The Democrats could have done more, but Trump and the GOP are the most to blame. For all my disappointment in the Democrats, the way the GOP are falling in line behind wanna-be dictator Trump is out right terrifying. For all their faults I still believe the Democrats are the better choice.

I agree with you, however, you don't see Democrats falling behind other causes. And that is because they seize the opportunity to defend them and advance them as soon as the chance presents itself.

There is really no excuse. They wasted nearly 10 years with Obama that they could have engaged in negotiations as they claim to do now. Nothing to stop them. They just did not care enough. They criminalized immigrants, advanced Secure Communities, increased deportations, and with a majority of 60 votes with an all Democratic government, codified a mandate to fill detention centers. All by Democrats.
