I am not in that situation that’s my point some need to help their parents And some don’t in my case I don’t my father is a resident and my mother is in the process .... that’s where a lot of us are divided by this whole chain migration and don’t get me wrong I feel for the parents that do need the help but guess what you win some and you lose some we get our citizenship but we have to lose something as a compromise that’s life .

Personally I don’t know your parents, but most parents would do anything for their kids. They left everything behind to give them a better life and better opportunities and any good parent would hate for their kids to see an opportunity like this pass by. In a perfect world, we would want them to be included as well, but reality is that is not going to happen right now.

Trust me, my parents would be so happy for me to become a citizen, but i wouldn’t be happy. I don’t like that my parents have to check on the rear view mirror every single day to make sure there isn’t any cops being them. We can’t be selfish and just think about ourselves. I’ve been in America since i was 2 years old, there has to be a way.

Let me quote you from another post

“You guys argue for absolutely no reason, i see constant derailment on all of these threads. No substance with these arguments. We are illegal immigrants, we don’t have a say with anything that goes on. “

I don’t think the last part that you wrote on there is sinking in quite well ..... WE HAVE NO SAY!!! We take what we can get !!

That wasn’t my point .... the “we don’t have a say” part was my point your arguing about not wanting them to limit chain migration .... so we have a say now all of a sudden ???
