So essentially they are targeting all folks that qualify for chain migration? Trump is de facto ending chain migration through enforcement

Well I can think of of only two things why this might have happened. Maybe she didn't disclose this information when she went through the PR process or lied in any way about her past final order of removal. Or maybe she never received it. Sometimes ppl move and never find out they have order of removals. But if they used a lawyer to do the process they would've known that was in her record. Mm

So, basically people with removal order , can’t adjust their status even if they marry someone they love. Can they do it if they have Daca?

The thing is this story doesn’t specify if she was adjusting status. It sounds like she had no status. Because if she was under DACA and she hadn’t expired they would not have the right to detain her.

According to ICE Director even with DACA we can still be up for deportation, we are just “low priority” to them.

DACA is not a protected legal status, but active DACA recipients are typically a lower level of enforcement priority

Then she probably was adjusting through DACA. Praying it ends up in her favor.

From the article it vaguely describes adjustment through marriage?

Yea most likely trying to adjust through DACA by marriage I would guess.

I wonder if USCIS tipped off ICE or if they have access to applicant information.
