They only started asking for more after they realized how stupid the Democrats were during the shutdown and then started to cave on everything else after that. The White House said, “if they really are this naive, let’s ask for more!”

Oh totally. Frustrating part is that they had the leverage to make it a more narrow bill. Now, all this talk about a narrow bill and the need for one is just talk. It all depends on the GOP and how generous it wants to be really.

There's is a deal to be made. The question now is if democrats are willing to come to the table and make a counter offer. Haven't seen much from them lately tho which concerns me. Do i think trump deal is fair? No. But that's what happen when they are in control of all branches of government. Especially when democrats suck at strategies.

Dems will oppose anything that offers an end to chain migration, end to DV lottery and full wall funding + border security. They will also oppose a 3 year extension with border funding because it "doesn't solve" our issue.
