Dems better not share our SOB stories during the midterms. They may not even win back control of congress! Then guess what? We would be wishing for the Goodlatte Bill lol.

But I was told by some people here that it was the Dems unwilling to compromise.

Also, this wasn't written by Trump. It was written by Miller.

Democrats should just cave. It's just a double standard to put all the blame on Trump. They had fucking leverage and they gave all that shit up. They are within reach of getting something done. For fucks sake.

Pres. Trump statement of support for Grassley/Cornyn immigration proposal. Also urges senators to oppose any short term or stop gap fallback proposals on DACA

There you go. The last sentence translates to "Thanks for funding our troops. Now I get to dictate the immigration deal however I WANT because you have no leverage. Get on board or go home"

2.5 more days of government funded show time for everybody.
This does not sound like a democracy, it sounds more like a dictatorship.

We all know the majority of americans support legalization of the dreamers. But this administration is making it way too difficult for congress to do its job. It is pretty much telling them what to do, instead of letting them openly debate their ideas.... not fair, that does not sound like compromise at all.

According to a generic poll released today they’re so called lead has vanished and the Republicans have taken the lead so I definitely see the Democrats use us again to buy them votes on crucial states.

Or perhaps that was their strategy all long - to keep us as pawns to score political points. The same reasons why everybody seizes the floor to talk about love for dreamers but nothing has gotten done in years and years.

Same here. Senators are busy tweeting supports for Dreamers and talking about Dreamer sob stories on the floor while knowing all too well that they are NOT going to convince the other side with that crap. IT'S ALL JUST FOR SHOW. I'd rather them spending more time thinking about an actual workable solution and talking to each other in private than devoting to PR/marketing all day.

Kinda getting sick of this pretense.

Seriously. How is it even possible that nothing is happening. It's unfathomable that nothing can get done. This is not 2010 when people were not out of the shadows. Now they have all the information they need to find people and deport them if they want to, and believe me, no matter what they say it will happen.
