I live in Texas now and to be honest, the biggest reasons why this happens is because Hispanics do not vote. Austin and Dallas cops are too busy to be asking around for papers unless you fuck up really bad. West Texas is another story on its own.

Oh they are. My car got broken into in Highland Park and it took them an hour to come out and write up the police report then another hour for crime scene to show.

Yeah I'm not so much worried about the big cities, but there are a lot of smaller cities and rural counties where they have cops just bored out of their mind and might want to make a name for themselves. Those without DACA have to use extreme caution. Don't be a low hanging fruit.
