To tell you the truth Democrats starting fighting hard because there was a DACA deadline. After the courts block the DACA termination, this bought Democrats more time. Now, DACA prioritization is no more until probably after the election or next year or so.

Let's be real. DACA is a temp fix. This issue has been put off so many times. Now is the time to fix it especially when the Orange man is trying to deport everybody. We can't always live our lives filled with fears and uncertainties.

And after 3 years you're back to deepthroating the republicans.

Good job. File your renewal if you haven't already and stop acting dumb.

Ryan tries to trick people with his nonsense words.

'multiyear funding for the wall for multiyear relief for the DACA kids' is your interpretation.
'FULL funding for the wall for TEMPORARY relief for the DACA kids' is what actually WH offered.

Excuses from both sides.

Thoughts and prayers; repeat ad nauseum: vote Dem, help elect Dems, then maybe next year we can pass something .

The people with the most time in this country and clean background records are being traumatized, abused, and deported.

Figure out a way to reestablish immigration enforcement priorities that can protect Dreamers, workers, parents.

Daca was not this administration's or this Congress's work. Draft a new bill and work to pass it. Do your jobs!

lol do u think congress is reading this forum or are u just venting?

maybe its time to just accept the fact nothing will happen this cycle, dems are in a good position to win in the fall.

u can only fight for so long, just choose ur battles wisely. we really have no say with a Republican majority.

Maria Sacchetti on Twitter: "Trump promised a border wall & millions of rapid-fire deportations. This budget doesn’t come close. Still, tens of thousands of immigrants would face arrest & expulsion. About 40,354 people would be detained daily, & DHS could move $$ to raise that. https://t.co/urhX8P9eCK"
https://mobile.twitter.com/mariasacc...96789515931648

So they did budget more detention beds than the mandate. Don't just take politicians at their word simply because they have (D) next to their name.

Once the omnibus bill passes this week, legislating is effectively over, and a big part of the political picture of the first two years of President Donald J. Trump's term is frozen and ready for the voters’ review.
