lol what.
in what way would that be big for dems.
the wall was a huge rallying point for trump and republican voters.
this could terrible for dems if this happens. fired up voting base + inefficient house and senate, guess who's going to take the blame from american voters?
the people they see as trying to get something done, or the people that have obstructed, and voted against getting stuff done.

GOP obstructed Obama and Democrats for eight years...worked out for them...

got a bad feeling about it tho, Trump is playing the narrative better than the dems with his constant lies and propaganda.

Dems need a better message than just “we’re against Trump.”

That sometimes obstruction works. You said it would hurt the Democrats, but maybe it won't. I'm not saying voters are looking at what happened 8 years ago, just an example of obstruction helping a party gain control of all three branches of government.

Agreed that Trump is winning the narrative by all his lies, propaganda, etc. I blame the media and especially the GOP for not being more critical. They just shrug their shoulders and let Trump do what he wants. It's very concerning.

The fact that there is a narrative at all is depressing. We really do need a human extinction.

There should only be Truth, anyone trying to slant, or distort the truth should be looked at with suspicion and placed on a list. Media should be decoupled from the government, specifically all the pre selected correspondents at the white house. Major problem. To keep their press credentials, they have to keep on the good side of the government.

The racoons will probably do a better job than us.

i dont understand the thesis of your premise. lol

the media is “deocoupled” from the govt. hence they are called the 4th estate according to the states of the realm.

when u say the media has to be on the good side of the govt.. thats basically like North Korea, that all press and media would have to agree with whatever the govt does.

but your also saying that the press should be decoupled from the govt but at the same time be on the good side of the govt?!? wtf does that mean?!

lastly, Truth is relative tho... your Truths are different someone elses “Truths”

obstruction at the cost of what and who, is how you should think of this.
republicans taking over three branches didn't really have to with them just obstructing, it was more that they were a successful push-back in some ways against the failures and negatives of the obama administration. look at the lead up to republicans taking a majority during obama's presidency, and what they were pushing back against. and compare that to what dems have been doing these last few years.
pelosi and co's momentum has hit too many roadbumps to be equatable to that situation.

I didn't even misspell decoupled, you did, but they are totally not "deocoupled" as you say. They need white house press credentials, and this introduces bias towards keeping those credentials.

The media has to be on the side of truth, not on the side of propaganda. If you can't notice the propaganda, then you are the target audience of the propaganda.

I don't know how you managed to twist my post into this;

"but your also saying that the press should be decoupled from the govt but at the same time be on the good side of the govt?!? wtf does that mean?!"

but you managed to do so, congrats.

Oh and lastly, truth is never relative. Truth is truth. Someone trying to peddle the lie of there being a relative truth is probably the same person who believes in santa, the wage gap, gender being a spectrum, and other barrels of disinfo.

You are most likely a shill.
