Not happening. File the discharge petition. A Democratic government will not allow this money to be used this way.

We have a lot of retirements happening this year and with them loss of votes. The discharge petition is the only way to help all Dreamers and it will succeed. The only goal Ryan has is to prevent an actual permanent solution for Dreamers.
please look at the text of the draft, it doesn't say anything about eVerify or infernal enforcement, only about curbing visa overstays by biometric entry exit system.
discharge petition alone wouldn't let clean Dream Act being enacted into law. its a fool's errand to just focus on clean dream act. turtle wont bring it to floor and Trump will veto it anyways. DemocRats are not going to get 60 senate seats even if they win senate, house, POTUS all in 2020. stop living in your fairy dream land. compromise bill has the best chance to be enacted in a law. it gives path to citizenship to dreamers, doesn't abandon our parents, no mandatory eVerify or increased enforcement.

Have you looked at the actual full draft?

They are only offering renewable Daca every six years. They are using this as a vehicle to provide the wall funds and to give the tech sector unlimited access to H1Bs by removing the per country cap on employment visas.

This is not a Dreamer bill. It's a modified Goodlatte bill.

No E-verify or internal enforcement. The construction of the wall, which Trump is so obsessed about, requires the $25 billion. If funds are diverted, the damn wall will not be built.

Waste of time, this bill isn't going anywhere in the Senate. If it even gets brought up, it'll fall 5-6 votes short.

We know that actual American voters do not want the wall or more H1Bs. One is for the liberals, the other for restrictionists.

mind you that she does not have DACA, but she says that she has some formed of Deferred Action.

she doesnt have to renew every 2 years like the rest of us, and she is not being affected by lawsuits and injunctions.
