Or here's a crazy idea...work on a bipartisan solution.
This is why I am concerned about McConnell’s silence. They know his agenda is dead in the water come November. If he goes nuclear to pass this bill it gives Trunp what he has wanted all along.

I don't think he'll go nuclear because they know they won't be in power forever.

Stop spreading BS, Dems are the ones that gave you DACA

This 2 bills are shit for 80% of dreamers that is why they will not support them.

USA Act is a true compromise bill not this shit show

All Democrats did was to obstruct Dreamer legislation. It was Obama who gave us DACA. Not Democrats. Obama was the president of both Democrats and Republicans.

Calling it a compromise bill doesn't make it so. Thousands of Dreamers including many DACA recipients won't benefit from Goodlatte 2.0.

Rep. Lou Barletta (R-PA) said he told the president that he would be voting against the compromise bill at the Wednesday meeting, saying it provided amnesty to DREAMers’ parents. The current bill allows DREAMers who have become citizens to apply for green cards for their parents.

Outside conservative groups, like the Heritage Foundation think tank, have told members to vote against the compromise bill.

Ryan has said he will call up a vote on both bills regardless of their chances of passing. His message is clear: This is Republicans’ last chance to actually vote and pass an immigration overhaul out of the House before the midterm elections.

But on Wednesday, even the prospect of a vote wasn’t a certainty.

My mom would be in her 70’s by the time i get a green card. She’s ready go back to our home country by then. No need for me to petition her.

HOUSE will hit the floor for votes at around 11:15, where they will vote on a procedural motion to get onto debate for the Goodlatte bill.

BTW — this kills the discharge petition. Goodnight to that.
