It’s never a one man show. 2018 and still no DA. No matter which party has control of the government, the party alone can not and will not pass something as serious as immigration. Both parties have to be in it for it to be able to work. Politicians don’t work for the citizen but for the corporations and their interests

I mean I don't know what to expect when the Supreme Court holds the stupid travel ban, GOP has taken most control of the judicial branch and we sorta fucked.

You have to give them credit, when they take control they go all out in order to implement they’re outrageous agendas. Had it been the Democrats in control, they wouldn’t have done anything.

Not doing anything is better than doing something against us

So they only have one choice then? That makes no sense? If they’re not against us then there for us, but they’re ability to sit back and chill when they have control of all the branches hurts us in the process, which brings us to the mess we’re in.

Democrats don’t do anything while the Republicans do actually do something.

We are in this mess because the Republicans for decades have refused to work with Democrats. 2013. Which speaker of the house didn’t want to put up for vote the senate passed CIR?

2006 which speaker of the house also didn’t want to put a senate passed CIR?

Pretty powerful blue wave back in the day bro. It took the blue wave like 2 years and 12 months to pass a clean Dream Act bill in the House. Sure as hell the powerful blue wave washed away these obstructionist Republicans (and I agree most do obstruct) in the Senate and the blue dogs. The blue wave was so powerful that Republicans obstructed the DA in the Senate. VERY POWERFUL BLUE WAVE. I pray for the blue wave to happen.

Here’s the thing, anyone that has any type of hope of Republicans to actually help us then they might as well keep waiting, because that is never going to happen. When it comes to Republicans the only thing I expect from them is to make our lives miserable.

However, on the Democratic side, for decades they have been praising how much they love us. Obama promised to pass immigration reform on his first year in office when he held a majority and he did nothing.

Other than Pelosi passing the DA in 2010, only for it to be killed by 5 other Democrats up for re-election that year voted NO, yet again killing our chances. Yes Republicans voted against that bill, but again I say, they will work to make our lives miserable, I don’t expect anything less from them. Harry Reid could have easily gone nuclear had he wanted to but he didn’t, this was all based on pure politics.

When the Republicans are in charge, our lives become more miserable, and some done on permanent basis considering they have the power to make anything become law. However when the Democrats are in charge, all we get is nothing, we still become the forgotten, and the sad part is that they are and we’re our only hope.
