Democrats walked away after the deadline disappeared. They didn't want to work with us because they refuse to agree to the four pillars, which changes the whole immigration system into a draconian process which seeks to reduce legal immigration to the fullest extent.

Round and round we go.

Secure-communities-like provisions of those bills make those proposals scary, albeit I do appreciate the willing to legalize.

I really thought the Democratic leadership would use their leverage on the budget to make Trump and Republicans come more to the center on a more narrow deal that did not include internal enforcement provisions or at the very least rigid oversight of internal enforcement operations. But, we know how that turned out. Unfortunately.

Not all D.C> Democrats are losers, but the party's leadership is crap. It really needs to change. Ocasio's defeat of crowley was amazing. But, granted, she may be too far left. Would be nice to have a pragmatist who actually has spine!

Lets pretend that we care and bring up the poisonous partisan Goodlatte and Goodlatte 2.0 for a vote . Let's purposely not all vote on either and blame Democrats for not voting on such poisonous bills. This way we kill the discharge petition and when midterm comes we can say we tried .

Repubs might play dirty but they play to win. Wish Dems would just follow and stopped being so soft.

This is what I have tried to emphasize all along, but I guess I am labeled a Trump supporter for making that argument. Dems need to play dirty to get shit done just like Republicans do.

Yep. I've said it before and I'll say it again. If Democrats played dirty like Republicans do all the time, we would have been legalized a long time ago

Both parties suck ass.

We all know everything is contingent upon the courts decision. I know DACA news has been a little dry lately, but NUMBERSUSA guys? Really. I’m willing to bet my whole savings that if renewals are halted there will be some sort of extension in the spending bill.
