This is very scary news.
There's definitely has to be more to this story!

Because if this happen to him it can happen to us. Specially me (having an old DUI) from 10 years ago.

I was also under the assumption as one as one of the members pointed out. We were not going to be targeted if our DACA expired.
Unless we get in trouble or we are the wrong place, wrong time scenario.

Honestly if this were to happen I believe they would have to give you a work permit and you would have to wait for your immigration trial. This could take years, in the mean time you can find someone to marry.

Forgotten what?

DACA renewal? Address update?

Very important because people forget to update address, especially DACA because people move around in college a lot.

I hope it doesn't come down to this but it it does hopefully something good comes out of it.

I'm waiting for my receipt for biometrics. It's on its way to renew my DACA.

Not like I'm siding with ICE, but something seems missing from this story.

No excuse.
If you care about your life in this country, pay your Daca fee and renew.
How exactly does one 'forget' to update one's address with DHS when it explicitly requires that any change in residency be reported?

ICE is arresting anyone for anything these days.

Omg, some crooked lawyer is charging $3,000 to help him refile for Daca...

Don't be careless.

Looks like community generosity will help him out of this problem, and that is good. Considering Daca renewals take 150 - 180 days to renew, IF filing on time, why play w your life?? 495÷24 months= $21 month.
